ABOUT US

Brevard Association of Human Services (BAHS) is a is a professional health and human services networking group focused on education, networking, and community service. The mission of BAHS is to improve the quality of healthcare and human services provided in Brevard County.

BAHS provides opportunities for its members to network and work cooperatively to serve Brevard County.  Networking increases the referral base for many companies and working cooperatively serves every business well.

Our monthly membership luncheons are an opportunity to meet and network with the county’s leaders in healthcare and human services.  With the organization’s focus on networking and education, the 1st and 3rd meeting of each quarter feature an educational speaker and the 2nd meeting of each quarter includes a structured networking activity.

HISTORY

BAHS began by a small group of professionals in the human service industry. This groundbreaking group recognized the value in networking. They were established in an effort to increase awareness of community providers, thereby improving services available to their clients. BAHS has grown to over 500 participating with monthly luncheon attendance topping 100.

MEMBERSHIP INFO

BAHS is open to anyone in a human service related profession who desires to network and work cooperatively with others in the industry. Membership is only $35 annually. To become a member, complete the membership application.

RAINBOW AWARD

The quarterly Rainbow Award was created by BAHS to honor the grassroots volunteers in our community. The recipient reminds us of the true heart of giving back to the community.  If you know of someone who is worthy of the Rainbow Award, please submit a nomination to bahsbuzzing@gmail.com.
