Board of directors


The BAHS Board of Directors all serve in a volunteer capacity and set the vision and annual goals for the organization. They give their all to promote networking and education for the health and human services community of Brevard County, FL. They are elected by the BAHS membership annually and ensure the continued success and healthy growth of BAHS.

Rachal McLain

President

Rachel is the Director of Case Management for The Law Office of Amy B Van Fossen, PA. Rachel has been a part of the BAHS family for the past 6 years and has volunteered the last 3 years as a member of the Board of Directors.

Diane Zizzo

vice President

Diane is a Wellness Advocate & AromaTouch Technique Instructor for doTERRA. Diane has been a member of BAHS for 3 years and this is her second year volunteering on the Board of Directors. Not only is Diane our go-to person for essential oils but she will also be coordinating the Be A Hero Awards for 2021.

Aly Elmasian

Aly Elmasian, Program Director of the Home and Community Based Services at Aging Matters in Brevard.  Aly has been an active member of BAHS for the past two years and is volunteering her time this year on the Board as our Special Events Coordinator.

Bridget Brown

Bridget is the Senior Clinical Home Health Specialist for Kindred at Home. Bridget has been a member of BAHS for over 20 years and has volunteered as a member of the Board of Directors for over 10 of them. She has served many roles including that of President. 

Kara Anderson

Kara is the Owner/President of Simplifying Senior Living and Community Relations Counselor at Discovery Village. Kara has been a member of BAHS since its early years. She has volunteered on the Board of Directors for over 20 years, served as President for two of them and remains an active advisor to the Board. Kara also currently manages BAHS email communications.

Dana Venditti

Dana is the owner of Visiting Homecare. She has been a member of BAHS for 14 years and served 2 years on the Board of Directors as Vice President. Once again, this year, Dana has taken on the role of Membership Coordinator and has been amazing at keeping our members up to date on their membership status as well as creating new marketing items to help promote BAHS in the community. 

Tonya Morales

Tonya Morales is the Community Relations Director of Sonata East at Viera.  Tonya has been an active member of BAHS for the past few years and is volunteering her time this year on the Board as our Coordinator for Speakers and Quarter to Care.

Melissa Alonso

MINGLE OR DON’T / QTC

Melissa is the Director of Sales and Marketing with Alura By Inspired Living. Melissa has been a member of BAHS for 4 years and on the Board of Directors for the past 3 years. This year Melissa coordinates Member Open Houses and has also volunteered to join Board Subcommittees. Melissa will also be coordinating our Quarter to Care for 2021.

Danica Scuderi

Danica Scuderi-Carluccio is the founding Shareholder of Advocates for the Aging, Inc. Danica has been an active member of BAHS for years and is volunteering her time this year on the Board as our Lunch Sponsorship Coordinator.

Vicki Moore

Special Events

Vicki Moore is a Sales Representative with CarePlus Health Plans. Vicki joined BAHS in 2020 and is new to the board in 2021, helping to coordinate our two major fundraiser events.

Paras Traganos

Paras has been the At-Large Member of the Board of Directors for over 2 years. When he is not offering words of wisdom to the BAHS Board, Paras is a Semi-Retired Management Consultant and supports Guardian Ad Litem 18th Circuit

Janet Price

Janet is Senior Living Advocate with Simplifying Senior Living. She recently joined the BAHS Board of Directors this year as one of the Event Coordinators for our two major annual fundraisers.

Jennifer Allen

Jennifer Allen is the Marketing Director/ Community Liaison for Life Care Center of Melbourne.  Jennifer has been a member of BAHS for over 4 years and is volunteering her time this year on the Board as our Quarter to Care/ Mingle or Don’t Event Coordinator.

Ivy Holtz

Mingle or Don’t / QTC

Ivy is an Account Executive and has been a member of BAHS for 3 years. She has volunteered as a member of the Board of Directors for the last 2 years and is responsible for organizing our amazing Quarter to Care recipients.

Bob Seamans

Bob is the owner of Seamans IT Consulting, LLC. He’s been a Member of BAHS and has volunteered on the Board of Directors since July 2019. Bob is the BAHS website administrator and has recently been working hard at updating the BAHS Website.

Amanda Walker

Amanda is a Community Engagement Coordinator for St. Francis Reflections Lifestage Care. Amanda has been a member of BAHS for over three years and has volunteered as a member of the Board of Directors since January 2020. She is the organization’s Social Media Administrator.

Reetu Haave

Reetu Haave is the Community Relations Director at Palm Cottages. Reetu joined BAHS this year and quickly jumped into volunteering her time on the Board to capture our biggest moments on film.
